Special Citizenship Ceremony at Mosaic Place


Moose Jaw, SK – In celebration of Canada 150, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, along with CIBC and the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) welcomed 20 new citizens at a special citizenship ceremony at Mosaic Place on Monday.

In celebration of the CIBC Canada Russia Series, and in recognition of the bank’s 150th birthday, this is the seventh in a series of enhanced citizenship ceremonies across the country that CIBC is honoured to host in partnership with IRCC to celebrate Canada’s and the bank’s shared history.

During the year-long celebration, Canadians across the country are encouraged to reaffirm their citizenship and share what citizenship means to them on social media using #StandForCanada, #MyCitizenship and #Canada150.
