Jacob Sweeney joins team QMJHL

Rimouski, QC – The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League in association with the Canadian Hockey League today announced an addition to the roster for Team QMJHL.
Moncton Wildcats defenseman, Jacob Sweeney will be joining the team for Game 6 of the SUBWAY Super Series in Rimouski. This season, Sweeney has scored 3 goals and added 18 assists for a total of 21 points in 24 games. Sweeney replaces Jeremy Roy of the Sherbrooke Phoenix who is unable to compete due to injury.
Team Russia currently leads the series 8-7 in points against the CHL with the six-game series wrapping up Thursday.
The SUBWAY® Super Series is an integral part of the evaluation process prior to Team Canada’s final selection camp in December.
