64 NHL prospects on 2019 CIBC Canada Russia Series Rosters

 

A total of 64 NHL prospects are split across four squads as part of the 2019 CIBC Canada Russia Series. Leading the way is Team OHL with 23 prospects, followed by 16 each lining up with Team WHL and Team QMJHL, plus nine representing Team Russia.

In all, 28 of the 31 NHL clubs are represented by at least one player, while the Vegas Golden Knights lead the way with five followed by the Los Angeles Kings, Minnesota Wild, Montreal Canadiens, and St. Louis Blues each at four. The Boston Bruins, New York Rangers, and Toronto Maple Leafs are the lone NHL clubs without a prospect participating in the series.

From the CHL, 37 clubs are represented by at least one NHL prospect, while the Halifax Mooseheads and Moncton Wildcats lead the way with four each, followed by the Baie-Comeau Drakkar, Calgary Hitmen, Kelowna Rockets, London Knights, and Ottawa 67’s each with three.

The group of 64 prospects is comprised of 42 forwards, 16 defencemen, and six goaltenders.
