Team WHL got 2 goals from Nolan Foote but lost Game 6 to Team Russia 4-3 in shootout. Foote then scored the series-winner in the tie-breaking second shootout to give The CHL the series win over Team Russia in the 2019 CIBC Canada Russia Series.
